Marty Richards, Head Coach
Marty Richards began coaching in 1991 when Milton High School started their football program. Marty spent eight years as an assistant coach at MHS, with one year as the offensive coordinator. Marty also coached for one year at BFA St. Albans and one year with the CEYFA Wolverines.
In 1999, Marty was approached to head up a group to get football started and approved at Mt. Mansfield Union High School. In 2001, MMU began their first season as a Club sport where Marty served as Head Football Coach. After three very successful years, Marty again leads the MMU football team as they enter their first season as a Varsity team.
Marty is also the proud father of three beautiful children and is fortunate to have a very supportive wife.

Stan Eames, Offensive Coordinator
Stan Eames joins the MMU Football Team again this year as the offensive coordinator for the Cougars. Stan is the founder of the local youth football program, Chittenden East Youth Football Association (CEYFA Wolverines), and served as the head coach for that program prior to joining the MMU staff. In the five years under Coach Eames, the Wolverines enjoyed five playoff appearances, and two State Championship bids, winning the State Championship in 2001. Coach Eames is also President of the
Northern Vermont Youth Football League. He and his wife Nancy continue to administer the CEYFA Wolverine youth football program, the feeder system for the MMU Cougars.
Coach Eames is President and CEO of Synergy Software Technologies Inc. in Essex Junction. He lives in Underhill with his wife of 23 years, Nancy , daughter Lauren and son Alex. Aside from his passion for coaching football, he is an avid golfer and snowboarder.
