Marty Richards
Marty
Richards began coaching in 1991 when Milton High School started
their football program. Marty spent eight years as an assistant
coach at MHS, with one year as the offensive coordinator. Marty
also coached for one year at BFA St. Albans and one year with the
CEYFA Wolverines.
In
1999, Marty was approached to head up a group to get football started
and approved at Mt. Mansfield Union High School. In 2001, MMU began
their first season as a Club sport where Marty served as
Head Football Coach. After three very successful years, Marty again
leads the MMU football team as they enter their first season as
a Varsity team.
Marty
is also the proud father of three beautiful children and is fortunate
to have a very supportive wife.

Kerry LeClair
Kerry LeClair grew up in Port
Henry, New York. He played football at Ithaca College. After graduation
from Ithaca, he served as a graduate assistant with Cornell University’s
football program for two years. Kerry then accepted a teaching position
at Port St. Lucie High School where he served as Offensive Coordinator
for the varsity football program for two years. When the head coach
left for a new position in Atlanta, Kerry moved as well, accepting
the position of Defensive Coordinator at Norcross High School. After
taking several years off, he moved back to the area and coached
for a year at Fair Haven High School before coming to Mount Mansfield.
Kerry started out as assistant coach, taking over Defensive Coordinator
by the end of that season.

Mike Mazzella
Mike Mazzella grew up in West Palm Beach,
Florida where heplayed 4 years of football for Cardinal Newman as
a center. He moved up to Albany, New York to pursue a teaching degree.
During his time in college, Mike was an intern of football operations
and special assistant to the head coach for the Albany Conquest
(now the Albany Firebirds) in 2006. Mike graduated in 2009 from
The College of Saint Rose in Albany as a double major in Biology
and Chemistry. He currently lives in Essex Junction with his girlfriend
Kelli and their two cats, Chloe and Marie.

John Fodero
John served as an assistant coach for the
Chittenden East Wolverines youth football program from 2004-2008.
For the 2009 season as an assistant coach for the MMU High School
Freshman team. John will focus on instructing the offensive and
defensive backs.

Manny Fletcher
Manny grew up in Montpelier where his love
of football began at the youth level. He began coaching in 2004
as part of the first ever Wolverines Flag Football Program. After
being part of the CEYFA program for 5 years as a flag, 5/6 and 7/8
coach, Manny was asked by Coach Richards to be part of the coaching
staff for the first Freshman Football Team at MMU. Coach Fletcher
will assist Coach Larson with the Defense as well as work with the
offensive line. He lives in Huntington VT with wife Vicki and two
children Dylan,14, and Ana, 11.

David Horner
New to the area, first-year coach. He works
Chittenden East Supervisory Union and lives with his wife Whitney
in Middlesex.
